The journey of Kiran Kumar Reddy as the chief minister has not been easy. He came in at a very crucial time and had no breathing space to settle. Before he can find himself comfortable, he had to face opposition from his own party members, the Telangana issue, the developmental issues and other things.     Today, Kiran is barely in a position to rule the state because the very existence of his government has come under threat. The departure of MIM has put Kiran’s government on the cliff and his fate is now in the hands of one man, Chandrababu Naidu. The TDP party head can now take a call on Kiran’s government stability.  The government is dangerously close to slipping from the magic number of 148 and if Naidu proposes a no-confidence motion then Kiran’s ruling will collapse. For that to happen, Naidu and his party should be in the right position to face midterm elections, can he do that? But if he does then Kiran’s dreams to continue till 2014 will be shattered.
