Erra bus will be divided after Pongal!
Kamalanathan Committee recommendations on division of the Government employees and Prathyusha Committee recommendations on division of civil servants were completed. It is the turn of APSRTC to divide between two states. The corporation will be divided into APSRTC and TSRTC soon. As per the sources, win-win formula has been worked out for the division of RTC.
AP Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao and his TS counterpart Rajiv Sharma were already discussed on the division. They are likely to be arrived conclusion during their meeting. They decided to divide corporation assets and liabilities as per the bifurcation of the act. Assets and liabilities would be divided as per the guidance of Sheila Bhide committee and employees would be divided as per the modalities of Kamalanathan Committee.
Telangana employees are hoping for 8000 new jobs after the division of the APSRTC. TSRTC can have 10 more depots after the division. Corporation is estimated to have 4,500 crores of liabilities. If the amount distributed at 58:42 ratio as mentioned in the Telangana bill, Telangana will inherit around 3K crores as it’s share. Of course! MGBS and Tarnaka Super Specialty Hospital will come under Telangana hold.
