PM Narendra Modi announces lockdown extension
Following the number of coronavirus infected cases in india extending beyond 10,000 and the increasing impact of the coronavirus pandemic, to curb the spread of the infection, indian prime minister narendra modi addressed the nation today and extended nationwide lockdown till May 3.
prime minister advised people to follow Ambedkar's words and said people of different places celebrating New year must stay at homes and celebrate. He told people to follow social distancing, and that states with lesser cases will see some relaxations from april 20 and ones with more cases will have increased restrictions and requested young scientists of the nation to design a vaccine for coronavirus and revealed that fresh guidelines for the extended lockdown will be out tomorrow.
In this case, tamil Nadu minister Jayakumar who spoke to media revealed that the lockdown will be extended from april 30 as per PM orders and he is doing the welfare for the Nation's good. PM modi has never spoken anything about the measures taken against the corona virus and the delays which happened in Rapid test kits. The curve is yet to flatten as india has already crossed 10,000+ cases.
