Nirbhaya rapist approached International Court
According to sources in what could be a sensational news, the convicts of Nirbhaya rape have approached international court of Justice (ICJ) seeking a stay on the death sentence. This move by the convicts was not expected and this will give them additional time from facing the death penalty issued by the delhi Court.
As per report it was stated that akshay kumar Singh, pawan Gupta and Vinay Sharma have filed a petition in ICJ and urged the court to pronounce a stay. This petition may enable the three convicts from not getting executed as per the schedule.This move by the convicts was not expected and this will give them additional time from facing the death penalty issued by the delhi Court. All the four convicts of Nirbhaya rape are scheduled to be hanged on march 20th at 5:30 AM.
Moreover as the convicts used all the remedies, many thought this is the last and final death penalty and they would certainly be hanged. Perhaps this move by the convicts was not expected and this will give them additional time from facing the death penalty issued by the delhi Court.
