Solar eclipse in India, Tamil Nadu!

Annual solar eclipse takes place when new moon is farthest from the Earth, and when the moon comes between the sun and the Earth, it will cover the centre of sun resulting in partial eclipse resulting in ring of light effect. 

 

As said by Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM) the obstruction of the sun in prominent indian cities are 89.4% - bengaluru, 84.6% - chennai, 78.8% - mumbai, 74.3% - hyderabad, 66% - ahmedabad, 44.7% - delhi and 45.1% in Kolkata.

 

The ring of fire can be seen in places like Kannur in kerala and southern coast of the country. The eclipse will be visible in many places such as Mangaluru, Dindigul, Erode, Karur, ooty, Thalassery, palakkad and Kasaragod while partial eclipse can be seen in bengaluru, delhi and Mumbai. This Annular Solar Eclipse will be visible from most of Asia including south india and some parts in North and West australia and North and east Africa. people in North America and britain will be able to see the eclipse on the ground.
