According to the firm, Shultz will continue to serve on the Starbucks board and "stay closely connected with the company's reinvention and function as a continuing counsellor to Narasimhan." Prior to joining PepsiCo, Narasimhan served as a senior partner at McKinsey & Company and served as the company's worldwide chief commercial officer. He had concentrated on McKinsey's retail, technology, and consumer practises in the US, Asia, and India.
