Sikh Protest in US: Indians' Strong objection!

In a US state, Khalistan supporters recognized 'Sikh Independence Day', but people of indian communities have lodged a strong protest.

A US state, Connecticut, has recognized the date of 29 april as 'Sikh Independence Day' (in other words Khalistan Declaration Day). On this decision, the indian community has lodged a strong protest (Sikh Protest in US). indians settled in America have said that the state of Connecticut is interfering in the affairs of india and it does not have basic knowledge of this matter.
Congratulating the pro-Khalistan organization 'World Sikh Parliament', the state assembly of Connecticut recognized the 36th anniversary of the alleged Sikh independence. To this, Thomas Abraham, chairman of the Global Organization of Peoples of indian Origin (GOPIO), said that it was started by a few mischievous people who have no interest in the interest of the state of Connecticut. These people are serving their own interests.
The people of the indian community settled in America strongly objected to this move and also staged protests. Khalsa Today chief editor Sukhi chahal said that the state of Connecticut is interfering in India's affairs by going outside its jurisdiction. He doesn't know at all the truth of what he is talking about. We strongly condemn this.
