US Sikhs raise 400,000$ to spread their religion

Sikhs in US State of California have raised a record price of 400,000$ for National media campaign to generate awareness among Americans about their religion. Recently in USA, there has been huge increase in crimes against the community. We also gave report on how High school students are bullying Sikh students.


So inorder to reduce the hate crimes, they have decided to provide awareness. This is the first time, Sikhs have raised such a huge amount of money to spread the awareness. The previous record was 90,000$ in NSC's Los Angeles.


And due to this fund raising gala, television advertisements were created and they were telecasted in San Francisco Bay Area. Former President Obama's campaign media team did the campaign.


It has to be recalled that, last year, the Sikh campaign hired services of AKPD and Hart Research Associates and it was spearheaded by Mr.Geoff Garin who was Hillary Clinton's former chief strategic advisor. There have been a number of incidents of attacks and discrimination against the community in the US.
