An Indian Origin British National was arrested at New York based on fraud allegations. He was a partner at the famous consulting firm 'McKinsey & Co'. He was arrested in New York as he made a sum of $900,000 with fraud.
Navdeep Arora was his name and he was a former partner in the Chicago office of McKinsey & Company. He was arrested red handed at JFK International Airport. Arora who is 51 years old is charged with 8 cases and all are based on fraudulent. He was immediately taken to US district court in Chicago.
He made his first appearance in District court in New York and he was detained from further proceedings. Along with him, the court ordered charges on Matthew Sorensen who is also a former internal consultant for State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company.
Sorensen who is 49 years old was also involved in fraudulent activities. According to the federal charges, Arora oversaw various consulting services provided by McKinsey to State Farm. The prosecutor made allegations that both of them were involved in bogus work together.
