Amitabh congratulates India’s Paralympics Gold , Bronzer winner
Sources have stated that it was a moment of double celebration on early Saturday morning when athlete Mariyappan Thangavelu has clinched a gold medal and Varun Singh Bhati has won a bronze at the Rio Paralympics and Bollywood was proud of their victory.
According to Twitter, Mariyappan and Varun has
won medals in the men's high jump T-42 event and the Bollywood superstar
Amitabh Bachchan was elated over
their win when he has tweeted.
Actor Abhishek Bachchan was also excited after the win and has praised it as incredible for Gold and Bronze winner Mariyappan Thangavelu and Bhatti in high jump. Actors Manoj Bajpayee, Rahul Bose and filmmaker Goldie Behl also expressed their joy through Twitter page.
Sources have stated that Mariyappan has become the first Indian high-jumper to win a gold medal at the Paralympics, with a leap of 1.89 meters, where Varun has jumped 1.86 meters to be ranked third.
