JioHotstar has announced a revision of its subscription pricing for new users starting January 28, 2026. The changes are mainly focused on the Super and Premium tiers, reflecting how users now consume more content on connected TVs and multiple devices. At the same time, the platform has introduced monthly subscription options across all its plans to give users more flexibility.

📌 Key Things to Know

🔹 Price Increases

  • Super Annual Plan jumps from 899 → 1,099.
  • Premium Annual Plan increases significantly from 1,499 → 2,199.
  • Quarterly rates for Super and Premium also rise (e.g., Premium from ₹499 → ₹699).
🔹 New Monthly Options

For the first time, all three tiers — mobile, Super, and Premium — offer monthly plans starting at 79, 149, and 299, respectively.

🔹 Existing Subscribers

If you already have a JioHotstar subscription and auto‑renewal is active, your current price remains unchanged until renewal. The revision only applies to new subscribers joining from Jan 28, 2026.

📺 What You Get with Each Tier

  • Mobile: Entry‑level access (one device at a time, ads).
  • Super: Access on up to two devices with Full HD, ad‑supported.
  • Premium: Up to four devices, 4K streaming, mostly ad‑free (ads may still appear in live sports).
🧠 Why This Matters

These changes mark one of the first major price revisions for JioHotstar since the merger and reflect broader shifts in how indians are watching content — increasingly on TVs and across multiple screens.
