Twinkle Khanna and kajol have responded to the backlash surrounding their candid remarks on marriage and relationships made on their talk show Two Much With kajol and Twinkle.

The duo clarified that their comments were intended purely as humour and light banter, not genuine advice.

In a recently released bonus episode, recorded after the initial episodes had aired, the hosts openly addressed the online debate.

Kajol acknowledged that their comments stirred mixed reactions and said:

“This segment has gotten us into a lot of trouble. Opinions here don’t matter as much as lighthearted teasing.”

Twinkle admitted they could have handled expectations better:

“We should have had a disclaimer from the first episode. Nothing we say in this segment should be taken seriously.”

She emphadata-sized that audiences should not follow the advice given during the playful segments.

Kajol suggested that marriages should have an “expiry date” with the option to renew, generating divided opinions.
