Raza Murad said about madhuri Dixit's journey, 'She did many small films like 'Abodh' and 'Awara Baap'. No one paid attention to her. In such a situation, her parents decided to get her married. They arranged her marriage to a singer. The singer saw her and said, 'She is too thin.'


Raza Murad further said, 'After some time, she was doing a film in kashmir with Rajesh Khanna. Nearby, subhash ghai was also at work. Her hairdresser went to meet her and asked which film she was working on. He introduced her to Madhuri. Subhash was impressed by Madhuri's looks. He asked her to meet him in mumbai and re-launched her.' Murad told that if Subhash had not met her, it was time for madhuri to go back.
