According to the data available, azad did a business of only Rs 1.5 crore on the first day. On the second day, till 6:30 pm, the film earned Rs 68 lakh and the total collection has reached Rs 2.18 crore. However, these figures are not final yet. There may be changes in them.

While azad has barely crossed the 2 crore mark, Kangana's film Emergency has earned around Rs 5 crore so far. Apart from this, films like Pushpa 2, andGame Changer are already ruling the box office. In such a situation, it is difficult for the film to attract the audience.

According to, azad has been made on a budget of around Rs 100 crore. Apart from Aman and Rasha, piyush mishra and ajay Devgan are also seen in important roles in the film. The film is directed by abhishek Kapoor. The story is based on the life of a horse and a boy named Azad.
