Traditionalism runs in a very formulaic way. I am from haryana and all this is beyond my control. I am not ready for all these things.'

She told that many top actors had assumed that she would be ready for off-screen proposals due to her bold roles. They used to call her at night, thinking that her on-screen boldness meant that she would meet them in real life. However, mallika had made it clear that she would not compromise on her values and rejected their proposals.
