Director reacts to stree 2 song 'Aaj Ki Raat'!!!
Horror comedy film stree 2 is still running in theatres and is earning well. The film has broken records at the box office. The film stars Shraddha Kapoor, rajkumar rao and Pankaj Tripathi. Actress tamannaah bhatia has also done the item song 'Aaj Ki Raat' in the film. Her song went viral.
Now the director of the film amar kaushik has reacted to the item song.
What did amar kaushik say about the item song?
According to the Hindustan Times report, the director said- people come to the theatre to watch item songs, no one can deny this. However, I wanted it to be according to the storyline, respectful and not compromise on quality. people think that if it is an item song, it should have dirty lyrics, but I was clear that the song should be entertaining and fit the film. The lyrics of the song should be meaningful.
Further he said- I believed that the song should not be cheap, because the film is not like that. The film should be politically correct in some things. You say what you want to say and there should be style too. But when you listen to the lyrics, you feel that I have said a big thing. You will understand this later. If I say it like a bhajan, then many people will not even listen to it. The one who wants to understand, understands. You cannot explain to the one who does not want to understand. Apart from this, regarding the struggle of females, the director said- I have grown up with sisters and I have seen their struggle. All that is in your mind and when you are making a film, you cannot show the struggle of women as normal.
