Jr ntr Thanks Andhra government for Ticket Price Hike for Devara
Jr ntr is set to return to the big screen in his first solo lead role in eight years with the much-anticipated film Devara, releasing worldwide on september 27. Directed by koratala siva, the film also marks the telugu film debut of janhvi kapoor and Saif ali Khan. With a production budget of ₹300 crore, Devara has already achieved a pre-release business of ₹180 crore through advance bookings.
Notably, this high-budget telugu film is the first to be released following the recent changes in the andhra pradesh government. There were expectations for benefits from cm Chandrababu Naidu and deputy cm Pawan Kalyan, and these were fulfilled with the government approving a significant hike in ticket prices and allowing special early screenings.
The Andhra government issued a directive increasing ticket prices: multiplexes can raise rates by ₹135, upper-class tickets by ₹110, and lower-class tickets by ₹60. Additionally, the government has permitted six special shows on the release day, starting at midnight, with five extra shows available from the second day.
Expressing his gratitude, jr ntr thanked the Andhra cm and deputy cm for their support and the revised ticket pricing. He also acknowledged Cinematography minister Kandula lakshmi Durgesh prasad for the benefits provided. “My heartfelt gratitude to the Honourable cm, Sri @NCBN garu, and Honourable deputy cm, Sri @PawanKalyan garu of the andhra pradesh government for passing the new G.O. for the #Devara release and your continued support of telugu cinema,” he wrote. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
