Siddhant recounted a funny incident involving Triptii Dimri and paneer momos. He advised, “Don’t have paneer momos! Even though Triptii is one of India’s rising stars and a national crush, she played a prank on me.” Siddhant explained that during a dubbing session for the Dhadak 2 announcement teaser at dharma Productions, Triptii ordered momos, a favorite of both actors. However, she chose to order paneer momos, which Siddhant found unappetizing. “I was shocked and said, ‘What is this? This is not acceptable,’” he recalled. He further shared that his post about never judging paneer momos again was his way of declaring that he would never eat them again.
Earlier, Siddhant had also discussed how the success of Animal had altered the way the crew treated Triptii on the Dhadak 2 set. “After the success of Animal, the response towards her changed. Before, she would ask for tea and no one noticed, but afterward, they’d ask her preferences like masala tea or green tea,” he noted. When asked if he had any romantic feelings for her, he clarified, “No, she’s a lovely person, but I focus my heart on my work, not on my co-workers.”
Regarding Dhadak 2, director Shashank Khaitan expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “I believe it will be a very impactful story. I’m excited about young actors telling social stories, and I look forward to Dhadak 2. The announcement was bold, and I wish everyone involved the best.”
