Since taking office as deputy chief minister of andhra pradesh in June, actor and politician pawan kalyan has had to pause work on several highly anticipated projects. His political responsibilities have led to delays in the production of his upcoming films, including OG, hari Hara Veera Mallu, and Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
Reports indicate that pawan kalyan himself decided to put the production of these films on hold, and there is a possibility that they may not resume even in 2025. director Harish shankar has confirmed that Ustaad Bhagat Singh is still progressing, though changes have been made to the script’s second half.
For hari Hara Veera Mallu, producer A.M. Rathnam has stated that the film will likely resume soon, requiring only one-and-a-half days of Pawan Kalyan's call sheets to complete. The film’s schedule is pending confirmation of dates from Kalyan.
OG, directed and written by Sujeeth, was initially set for release on september 27 but has been postponed to march 2025 due to Kalyan’s political commitments. The film features Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, priyanka Mohan, arjun Das, and Prakash Raj, and is produced by D.V.V. Danayya under D.V.V. Entertainment. thaman s is composing the music, ravi K Chandran is the cinematographer, and naveen Nooli is handling the editing.
