The release date and new poster were shared by Taran adarsh on Instagram. The poster features Devgn as IRS Officer Amay Patnaik and reveals that riteish deshmukh will play the antagonist. Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, raid 2 was initially scheduled for release on november 15, 2024, but has now been postponed. The film will also feature rajat kapoor and is filmed extensively in delhi and Lucknow.
The official X handle of T-Series had earlier teased the film with a poster showing a pair of stylish shoes and the text, “Amay Patnaik is back,” along with the initial release date.
