Box office Collection: Slight increase in the collection of 'Goat' on the fourth day, and'Stree 2' earnings jump on the 25th day
These days, crowds of viewers of 'Stree 2' and 'The Greatest of All Time' are being seen in the theatres. 'Stree 2', which was released on 15 August, is still running in the box office race. The makers of 'The Greatest of All Time',which was released four days ago, are focused on covering their budget as quickly as possible. At the same time, 'Khel Khel Mein' is now in a state to bid farewell to the theatres. Let us know how much these films have earned at the box office so far.
'Stree 2' rocked the ticket window by earning Rs 291.65 crore in the first week itself. The film earned Rs 141.4 crore in the second week and Rs 70.2 crore in the third week. It is earning well in the fourth week as well. The film collected Rs 10.75 crore on Sunday andthus the film's domestic box office collection has reached Rs 527 crore. 'Stree 2' has become India's first horror-comedy film to earn more than Rs 500 crore.
Dalapathy Vijay's film 'The Greatest of All Time' opened its account with earnings of Rs 44 crore on the first day. The film was released on 5 September. On the second day, it earned Rs 25.5 crore. On the third day, the collection was Rs 33.5 crore and on the fourth day i.e. Sunday, it earned Rs 34.2 crore. Obviously, 'Goat' seems to be struggling to reach anywhere near its first day's earnings. The total earnings of the film in four days have reached Rs 137.2 crore.
Out of Rs 137.2 crore, Rs 121.05 crore has been earned from the tamil version. It earned only Rs 8.3 crore in hindi and Rs 7.85 crore in Telugu. The film is directed by venkat Prabhu. It has been made on a huge budget of Rs 400 crore. Many actors including Dalapati Vijay, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhu Deva, yogi Babu, Ajmal, trisha krishnan, Prashanth, and Sivakarthikeyan have worked in the film.
'Khel Khel Mein' was released on 15 August. It earned Rs 19.35 crore in the first week. The collection in the second week was Rs 5.85 crore. In the third week, only Rs 5.7 crore was earned. As compared to the earnings of Rs 0.85 crore on Saturday, a slight increase was seen on Sunday and the film earned Rs 1.12 crore. So far 'Khel Khel Mein' has earned a total of Rs 34.42 crore.
