As per the trade analysis site, 'Chandu Champion' collected Rs. 4.75 cr on Day 1 and Rs. 7 cr on Day 2. On Day 3, the film collected Rs. 10 cr nett in india as per early estimates. As of now, the film has collected Rs. 21.75 cr in India. 'Chandu champion had an overall 32.47% hindi occupancy on Sunday.As per film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Kartik Aaryan film's growth is being helped by glowing word-of-mouth reports. In the film, Kartik plays chandu across ages and the various transitions in his life. From being an indian Army soldier, and a wrestler to a 1965 war veteran and swimmer.Produced by sajid nadiadwala and kabir khan, the film marks kabir khan and Kartik Aaryan's first collaboration on screen. Directed by kabir khan, the film also stars bhuvan Arora, Rajpal Yadav, and Vijay Raaz in key roles.
