On the third day, due to Sunday, 'Munjya' made a strong collection of Rs 8 crore and on the fourth day the film collected Rs 4 crore.

Talking about the story of the film, it is the story of a boy who falls in love with a girl older than him. But the girl gets married somewhere else. Later the boy gets involved in black magic and tries to sacrifice his sister. However, he himself dies and later becomes a ghost.
