The person who has been killed has been identified as Renuka Swamy.Swami worked in a pharmacy company and was a resident of the district headquarters town of Chitradurga. According to reports, after the murder, Swami's body was thrown into a drain in Kamakshipalya. It is alleged that the deceased had made some derogatory comments against a film actress in a social media post. Due to which such an incident was carried out.The police came to know about the murder when some local residents informed them about it. Sources said the body was sent for post-mortem and the forensic report confirmed that he was murdered. A police officer said that further investigation has led to the arrest of some suspects, who told the whole truth in the investigation.Sources said that based on his statement, the police have detained Darshan. According to sources, the matter is being investigated and it is being ascertained whether the actor was directly involved in the murder or was part of the conspiracy. The police have provided tight security at Darshan's house in RR Nagar.
