Voting is being held in many states today for the seventh phase of lok sabha elections 2024. bollywood actor and bjp leader mithun chakraborty also cast his vote in Belgachia, kolkata for the last phase of the elections. After fulfilling his civic duty, the actor came out of the polling booth and was seen flaunting his inked finger. Along with this, he said that now he will talk about films.

After casting his vote in kolkata, actor and bjp leader mithun chakraborty told PTI that it was his duty to vote as a citizen and he did so. He told that he stood in the queue for 40 minutes before casting his vote like a common citizen. He said that people told me to break the queue and move ahead but I did not do so. mithun chakraborty also said that he has completed his political duties and will now only talk about films as he also has to feed his family.
