NTR’s Disaster Film – Chota vs Harish Shankar

S Venkateshwari
Unexpected comments made during an interview have the potential to go viral at any time; this happened recently with cinematographer Chota K Naidu. The extremely gifted senior cinematographer, who is also well-known for receiving a hefty salary, made contentious remarks about director harish shankar the other day, prompting the latter to reply.

In answer to a query, Chota stated in a video interview that if the director allows him creative freedom, he would always perform his work in a creative manner. However, if directors don't provide him that room, he will just give up and comply with their request. with support of this, he cited harish shankar, who claimed that the director had frequently meddled with Jr. NTR's work throughout the 2013 ramayya vastavayya period. Chota ceased offering suggestions because of Harish's meddling and only gave Harish what he asked for in that film.

In response to this video, harish shankar tweeted a letter in which he claimed that even though everyone had given him the go-ahead to fire Chota from Ramayya Vastayya, he had chosen not to do so out of respect for the senior cameraman's skill. Chota was instructed to cease talking about him by Harish, or else he threatened to respond sharply on any platform at any moment.

Chota K Naidu is now the camera for megastar Chiranjeevi's Vishwabhara, whereas Harish has a gifted cinematographer like Ayanaka Bose cranking up the camera for his Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Mr. Bachhan.
