Very Very Dry Period At Box Office

S Venkateshwari
Every year, the box office typically has a drop in february and March. But as soon as the summer vacations start, it picks up. This year's summer is rather dry. In contrast, last year was far better. The decrease in audiences' interest in new releases can be attributed to several factors. There aren't any noteworthy theatre releases happening at the same time.

Among the films that came out this week was Parijatha Parvam. In addition, a few independent films, like Tenant and Theppa Samudram, were released in cinemas. But the viewers were sorely let down by these flicks from the very first-morning show. As a result, there have been reported show cancellations in various places.

Manjummel Boys maintain their profitable streak at the box office with Tillu Square. The end of the theatrical run is drawing near. However, there isn't a strong lineup that draws in crowds. Several films, including love Me and Sasivadane, were delayed.

There aren't any intriguing films scheduled, but there's always the indian Premier League (IPL) for amusement. In particular, sun Risers hyderabad is playing well this year, and cricket is attracting a lot of interest from the public. Furthermore, the summer is also overtaken by election fever. It takes an additional fifteen days for the box office to start acting up.
