Mega hero Ram Charan has never had an opening scene as impactful as the one he did for SS Rajamouli's rrr in recent memory. Senthil Kumar, the cinematographer, disclosed all of this because he thought that this specific moment gave the impression that they were doing something that had never been seen on an indian screen before. Action scenes need a lot of time to shoot, and this one took over 30 days to shoot at a specially constructed set in Ramoji Film City. The difficulty is in capturing Charan's expression, which is more akin to that of a meditating person who is mechanically but not emotionally defeating his fellow Indians.
