Even though trailers usually gave away a film's destiny to viewers, the bollywood multistarrer generated controversy as soon as it was released. Despite starring tiger shroff and Akshay Kumar, the film did not generate significant attention. The lack of hype also caused the release to be delayed.

All of this is meaningless, though, if the substance is strong. However, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan did not live up to the low standards. The narrative revolves around two army personnel, Firoz (Akshay) and Rakesh (Tiger), who effortlessly do difficult tasks. It comes as a surprise when they lose their employment. After stealing a vital national weapon, international terrorist Kabir (Prithviraj Sukumaran) escapes to London. The task of bringing it back will be given to Bade and Chote Miyan. Together with Captain Misha (Manushi Chillar), they begin the mission.

With a plot that is already decades old, filmmaker ali Abbas Jaffer puts viewers to the test with his antique screenplay. Although it gets off to a great start, the dull action drama rapidly loses its plot and becomes quite predictable. Large budgets were used to film the chases and battles, but the lack of feeling and connection leaves them lifeless and pointless. The plot thickens and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan gets tedious to watch.
