YouTuber Arrested: A YouTuber made a false claim of spending the whole day at Bengaluru airport, police arrested

A YouTuber from Bengaluru has been arrested by the police. The youth had falsely claimed that he spent the entire day at the Kempegowda international airport in Bengaluru.

A YouTuber was found guilty of falsely claiming to have spent the entire day at Bengaluru airport. The 23-year-old YouTuber has been arrested by the police. According to police, a 23-year-old YouTuber was arrested for entering Bengaluru's Kempegowda international airport and recording a video falsely claiming that he spent the entire day there. The name of the arrested person is Vikas Gowda.


Didn't travel even after having a ticket

According to the police, Vikas Gowda, a resident of Yelahanka, Bengaluru, entered the airport at around noon on april 7 with a ticket for an air india flight to Chennai. After this, he 'deliberately' did not board the flight. Instead, he wandered around the airport recording videos on his mobile phone. On april 12, the young man uploaded the alleged video on his YouTube channel. YouTuber has about 1.13 lakh subscribers on YouTube channel. In the video uploaded, he falsely claimed that he spent the whole day at the airport. Ignoring security, he entered several areas of the airport complex. The alleged video was later deleted by the man himself.

Didn't the officials get suspicious?

A senior police officer in this case said, 'The YouTuber entered the airport and went towards the boarding lounge after the security check at Terminal-2 of Kempegowda international Airport. But, instead of boarding the plane, he wandered around the airport premises. In this way, he spent about six hours at the airport. After recording the video, he walked out of the airport telling the security personnel that he had missed his flight. The youth had a valid ticket and boarding pass, so the security personnel did not suspect him.


This is how the matter came to the notice of the police

According to the police, 'Initial investigation has said that the YouTuber did this for publicity and he had made exaggerated claims in the alleged video. Later on april 15, this matter came to the notice of the airport security personnel. Based on the complaint of a Central Industrial Security Force officer, a case has been registered against the YouTuber under various sections and he has been arrested.
