The actor says, 'In those days, I used to organize parties at my house almost every day, but I never touched alcohol even as a hobby.'

Rajesh Khanna was fond of drinking

Ranjit continues, 'My house was in Juhu and my parents lived in Delhi. Almost every evening after finishing work, all my co-actors used to come to my house to party. You take names and I will say yes, they too used to be a part of my party. From sunil dutt to raj Kumar, Sanjay Khan, Firoz Khan, Dharmendra, and Shatrughan Sinha, everyone used to come to these parties of mine. rajesh khanna was very fond of drinking. He would finish one or two bottles in a night. Apart from actors, many actresses also used to come to my parties. The atmosphere was different then. Neetu Kapoor used to make bhindi and reena Roy used to make parathas. Parveen bobby was famous for making drinks. In those days everyone used to work together.



Hero used to reach the set late

When Ranjit was asked how everyone used to go to work the next day after partying for so long. In response to this question, ranjeet says, 'In those days, no hero used to reach the morning shift before lunch. These heroes used to wake up at 2 p.m. Then they used to come to the set comfortably. I used to work many shifts in those days, so I did not wait for any hero. I used to finish the shoot of my part and leave for the shooting of another film.
