The vote date, which was announced for May 13 in andhra pradesh and Telangana, appears to have taken telugu movie distributors and producers by surprise as well, as there's a potential that Prabhas's kalki 2898 AD, a movie starring pan-Indian actor prabhas, would be delayed. According to the rumor, kalki is hoping to reschedule for the big Independence Day holiday weekend that begins on august 15th, as they want a release date that would be available across India. With the large costs involved in the sci-fi thriller, people are asking if allu arjun would make way for prabhas now that pushpa 2 has set that date.
However, rumors are starting to circulate from Allu Arjun's side that they already have a lot on the line and that altering the date from august 15th is out of the question.
