Talking about 'Thalaivar 171', the director revealed that the film is currently in pre-production. It will take about four to five months for its shooting to begin. Perhaps the shooting of the film may start in june this year. Talking about Thalaivar 171, lokesh kanagaraj also revealed that the film will take approximately one to one and a half years, making it one of his most ambitious projects to date.
Apart from this, he also revealed that he will start shooting for 'Kaithi 2' starring karthi in the lead role a month after the completion of Thalaivar 171. He also said that any official update about Thalaivar 171 will be revealed only when Rajinikanth's current film with TJ Gnanavel is released.
