The first poster for Dhanush's next film, which is based on the life of renowned music composer Ilaiyaraaja, was launched on Wednesday. dhanush is the winner of the National Award. Arun Matheswaran, who most recently directed Dhanush's most recent release, Captain Miller, will helm the film, which is titled Ilaiyaraaja.

In 2010 he was awarded the third-highest civilian honor, the Padma Bhushan, and in 2018 he was granted the second-highest civilian honor, the Padma Vibhushan.Mercuri Movies, PK Prime Production, Connekkt Media, and Malayalam, Kannada, and tamil will all be participating in the release of Ilaiyaraaja. The producers are listed as sriram Bakthisaran, C K Padma Kumar, varun Mathur, Ilamparithy Gajendran, and Saurabh Mishra. The photographer's director will be Nirav Shah. In addition to Ilaiyaraaja, dhanush will appear in the films Kubera, directed by sekhar kammula and starring Jim Sarbh, rashmika mandanna, and Nagarjuna, and Raayan, which he wrote and directed.
