Thalapathy Vijay's last outing to Kerala for filming was for the movie Kaavalan in 2011

Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film, Greatest Of All Time (GOAT), directed by venkat Prabu, is generating immense anticipation as it is speculated to be his last project before entering politics. Reportedly, shooting is scheduled to begin at the Greenfield international Stadium in thiruvananthapuram today, marking Thalapathy Vijay’s return to kerala after 14 years since his last film, Kaavalan, in 2011. Fans have expressed their excitement by erecting billboards at the stadium to welcome the acclaimed actor.

Thalapathy Vijay’s arrival in thiruvananthapuram on march 15 was confirmed by Mathrubhumi, a local news website, with filming expected to kick off on march 16. The actor’s previous kerala venture, Kaavalan, directed by Siddique, commenced filming on october 3, 2011, predominantly in thailand and Chennai. Reports suggest that actress trisha is likely to feature in an item song for GOAT, filmed in early march at a chennai studio. The film’s music, composed by Yuvan shankar Raja, is produced under the banner of AGS Entertainment. This convergence of Vijay’s on-screen charisma, venkat Prabu’s directorial prowess and an ensemble cast promises an enthralling cinematic experience, eagerly anticipated by fans and industry enthusiasts alike.
