Anushka has entered malayalam cinema with the upcoming fantasy thriller Kathanar-The Wild Sorcerer. anushka who has many fans in tamil and telugu has given many hit films like Arundhati, Baahubali, and Bhagamati. One of the leading actresses of South indian cinema, anushka also became one of the highest-paid actresses. However, due to some personal reasons, she stepped away from cinema and made a comeback in telugu with Miss Shetty and Mr. Polishetty. While the film was critically well-received, it also helped anushka become a profitable actress after the flops saira narasimha reddy and Nisapdam. anushka has entered malayalam cinema with the upcoming fantasy thriller Kathanar-The Wild Sorcerer.
With an investment of Rs 75 crore, this film is the highest-budget film in the history of malayalam cinema. The team has recently completed the construction of a sprawling 45,000 square feet studio space for the film, directed by Rojin Thomas and starring Jayasurya in the lead role. According to reports, anushka has received a salary of Rs 5 crore for this film. No official information about it has been released yet. After Baahubali 1 and 2, anushka became a popular actress across India.
That way she has a lot of fans in Kerala. According to reports, before Baahubali, she was paid up to Rs 3 crore per film. It has been reported that anushka received Rs 6 crore for Miss Shetty, and Mr Polishetty. This is said to be the highest amount anushka has received since Baahubali 2.
Anushka will reportedly play the role of a forest goddess in Katanaar-The Wild Sorcerer. The film, which uses a lot of VFX, is slated for a pan-India release. It is noteworthy that the shooting of three phases of the film has been completed so far.
