Thangalaan release date after Elections results – Pa. Ranjith

Thangalaan is one of the much-anticipated pan-India films, starring Chiyaan vikram and malavika Mohanan. Pa Ranjith has directed this film, which has been repeatedly postponed for a long time now. Viewers are looking forward to knowing the exact date of the film. Now, Pa Ranjith talked about it in a recent interview. He said, “Thangalaan will come very soon and all the works are completed. We are just waiting for the election dates to be announced and once that is out, we will appropriately announce the release date. There are many rumours going on and none of them are true.” According to him, Thangalaan’s shooting is about to be complete and he will apply for the censor certificate of this film after the election dates are out. Pa Ranjith ended by saying that he hopes the people will like Thangalaan as much as he does.

Thangalaan is a period drama set against the backdrop of Kolar gold Fields. The period actioner will mark Vikram’s first collaboration with Pa Ranjith, who is known for his distinct support to highlight the plight of the suppressed through his films. With GV Prakash’s music, Thangalaan is co-produced by Studio Green and Neelam Productions.

The cast of this film is equally excited about its release on the big screens. Malavika, who plays a key role in Thangalaan, decided to promote it intriguingly. She got the photo of her character aarathi imprinted on a Bhutanese stamp. malavika uploaded the passport-data-size photos of those stamps on instagram and described them in the caption. She wrote that the local post office in bhutan has an interesting feature of getting a photo of your choice printed as a Bhutanese stamp. According to Malavika, the date of Thangalaan is so close that she decided to use this opportunity to have her character immortalised. malavika completed the caption writing that her character aarathi is going to be one of the most powerful and fiercest female characters to be shown on the screen. “Happy Women’s Day”, she wrote at the end.
