Will Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan earn good collections for BO like ‘Jailer’?
Superstar Rajinikanth is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film, Vettaiyan. As per the latest updates, Rajinikanth in a recent interaction was asked about the status of the film. He stated that a significant portion of the film has been shot. Let us take a look at what he said. Rajinikanth who is busy filming his 170th venture titled Vettaiyan attended a press conference. He was asked to reveal some information about the film’s current status. To which, he stated that they have completed about 75 percent of the film’s shoot. Rajinikanth then added, “Shoot is going on superbly at the moment. However, the release date of the film will be announced only after the entire shoot is done.” As per more reports, he is expected to finish his part in the film by the end of this month, and start working on a lokesh kanagaraj directorial.
Vettaiyan is being helmed by T J Gnanavel. It stars Rajinikanth as the protagonist, with an ensemble cast of amitabh bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Kishore, and Rohini. It is being produced by subaskaran allirajah under the banner of Lyca Productions. The music in the film is being given by Anirudh Ravichander, while S R Kathir is the cinematographer, and Philomin raj is doing the editing. As per the reports, the film is expected to release this year.
