Vikram’s much-anticipated film dhruva Natchathiram Chapter 1: Yuddha Kaandam has data-faced numerous delays in its release, leaving fans eagerly awaiting its arrival on the big screen. Originally scheduled for release on november 24, 2023, the film was repeatedly postponed, reportedly due to director Gautham Vasudev Menon’s inability to repay an advance payment to Vijay raghavendra, a shareholder in All In Pictures. raghavendra filed a petition in the madras high court seeking an interim ban on the film’s release until the debt was settled. However, recent reports suggest that menon has managed to clear the debt by paying creditors Rs 60 crore, raising hopes among Vikram’s fans for the film’s imminent release. Nonetheless, there has been no official confirmation regarding these reports.

Speculation within tamil film circles hints at a potential release date for dhruva Natchathiram on february 23, though earlier rumours of a february 16 release were proven false. The film, which has been in production since 2017, is anticipated to be an action-packed thriller boasting a stellar cast including Ritu Varma, vinayakan and Simran.

Initially, actor Suriya was slated to play a pivotal role in the film but withdrew from the project, citing concerns over the script’s authenticity and realism. Consequently, vikram stepped into the lead role, following his success in the Mani Ratnam-directed ponniyin selvan franchise. sony Music South unveiled the film’s trailer on october 24, 2023, teasing audiences with promises of an enthralling cinematic experience, compelling storyline and top-notch visuals.
