Previously, he took on the role of a blind pianist in Maestro, originally portrayed by ayushmann khurrana in the hindi film Andhadhun.

The telugu remake Maestro was directed by Merlapaka gandhi and produced by sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha reddy under the Sreshth Movies banner, with B Madhu as the presenter, hit screens in 2021. But did you know that Keerthy suresh turned down this film? She declined the opportunity to star alongside Nithiin in Maestro due to her reluctance to perform intimate scenes, including liplocks, which are crucial to the storyline. director Merlapaka gandhi, who aimed to replicate the original’s intensity in the telugu adaptation, chose ismart shankar actress Nabha Natesh. Besides, Keerthy suresh was recently approached by a tamil director who presented a script requiring liplock scenes. However, she declined the project due to her steadfast policy against on-screen kissing.

Keerthy began her journey in the film industry as a child artist. Despite completing her studies in fashion design, she continued her career in acting. She made a notable comeback with a leading role in the 2013 malayalam film Geethaanjali, for which she received the SIIMA award for Best Female Debut. Following that success, in 2014, she starred alongside dileep in the commercially successful movie Ring Master.
