He made his debut in the tamil film world with the film "Rajasekaran Emantha Sonagiri" released in 1937. After 44 years as an incomparable actor in the tamil language, actor MR Radha finally had a small role in Rajinikanth's 1980 film Naan Pota Saval.
But it is also noteworthy that he died before the release of the film. In an interview to a popular daily about his screen career, he said, "I can't read or write." I never went to schools and used to read and spell large letters. He said that I have only worldly experience.
Bhagat Singh was his favorite leader from the british rule as a youth. He said that during that period he did not like Periyar much and after that he started reading him slowly. Actress MR Radha, who never joined any political party, earned a salary of around one lakh rupees in the 1960s and 70s. He passed away on 17th september 1979 in Trichy.
