After meeting Manoj Kumar Sharma and Shraddha Joshi, anand mahindra referred to them as real-life heroes in a post on february 7. 


Anand mahindra, the chairman of the mahindra Group, met and got the autographs of indian Police service (IPS) officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and his wife, indian Revenue service officer Shraddha Joshi. After meeting the couple, the industrialist referred to them as 'real-life heroes' in a post on february 7. 

The film '12th Fail', which was a box office hit and won the Best Actor (Critics) Filmfare Award for lead actor vikrant massey, was inspired by the lives of Manoj Sharma and Shraddha Joshi. “They were shy when I requested them for their autographs, which I am proudly holding. But they are the true real-life heroes Manoj Kumar Sharma, IPS and his wife Shraddha Joshi, IRS. The extraordinary couple on whose lives the movie #12thFail is based,” he wrote in the post.

Over lunch today, I learned that the film’s narrative is true to their real stories. And they continue practising their philosophy of living a life of scrupulous integrity. If india is to become a global power, it will happen more rapidly if more people adopt their way of life. So they are the real celebrities of this country. And their autographs are heirlooms. I am a wealthier man today, for having met them,” he added.


The bestselling book by Anurag Pathak, '12th Fail', chronicles the journey of Mr. Sharma and his spouse, indian Revenue service (IRS) official Shraddha Joshi. The critically praised film '12th Fail' directed by vidhu vinod chopra stars medha shankar as Shraddha Joshi and vikrant massey as Manoj Kumar Sharma.
