The spy story trend continues to flourish, reaching bollywood with yash Raj Films (YRF), known for producing spy universe narratives. Following salman khan, Hrithik Roshan, and tiger Shroff, alia bhatt is set to become the first female spy officer under the YRF banner. alia will take on the action-packed role in the upcoming chapter of the spy-based action thriller.

Joining her in a lead role as another agent is Sharvari Wagh, with details about her character being kept under wraps for now. aditya chopra, the producer, has reportedly finalized the director for the project. There are indications that alia and Sharvari will be directed jointly by Shiv Rawail. Shiv Rawail, who found success in the OTT field with "Railway Men," has expressed interest in working on this film. 


Discussions are currently ongoing between aditya chopra and Shiv Rawail regarding their collaboration. This project is considered ambitious for all production partners and stakeholders, promising numerous surprises within the spy saga to enhance the existing successful spy universe. Both alia and Sharvari are enthusiastic about stepping into the spy universe as super agents, adding a new dimension to the film. The YRF Spy Universe, which commenced in 2012 with "Ek Tha tiger," has witnessed successful releases such as "Tiger Zinda Hai" (2017), "War" (2018), and "Pathan" (2023).
