Siddhant Chaturvedi Praises 12th Fail, Says 'Vikrant Massey Is So Good'
After alia bhatt, deepika Padukone, Farhan Akhtar, and several other bollywood celebs who have praised '12th Fail', Siddhanth Chaturvedi of 'Gully Boy' fame has lauded the film.
In an interview, siddhant chaturvedi was asked to name one director he wanted to work with next. He took filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra's name and spoke about the filmmaker's recent film '12th Fail'.
Siddhant shared that since hails from a 'very small town', he connected with '12th Fail'. "I think I love 12th Fail. I connected with the film, I mean I was not doing IAS but I was still doing CA and I come from a very small town so I connected with and I messaged Vikrant (Massey), he is so good in that and the whole cast," he told the publication.
The 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan' actor added, "So I think with Vidhu Sir (Vinod Chopra) is I want to work with him. I always wanted to work with him. I remember my dad sending me to watch Parinda when his vidhu vinod chopra festival was on in PVR, so I was always a huge fan of his work. I have gone alone because my dad booked my ticket, and I watched the film, and I was just blown away, so I've been a huge fan of his work anyway."
Besides siddhant chaturvedi, celebrated filmmaker rohit shetty and veteran actor Kamal Haasan, Kantara star Rishab Shetty, actors Farhan Akhtar, kangana ranaut, and sanjay dutt among others have praised the film. Meanwhile, vikrant massey won Best Actor( Critics) for his performance in '12th Fail' at the Filmfare Awards 2024. The film also stars medha shankar as Manoj Kumar Sharma's IRS officer wife, Shraddha Joshi. '12th Fail' also won Best Film( Popular).
