Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth's romantic and emotionally compelling kannada film "Sapta Saagaralu Daati" has recently gained tremendous popularity. Despite efforts to appeal to the young, its telugu box office performance was disappointing. Notably, Rukmini Vasanth gained praise, with many comparing parallels to Sai Pallavi.
According to an exclusive source, Rukmini Vasanth has signed up for her maiden telugu film. It's mass Raja Raviteja's next film, which will be directed by K. V. Anudeep, well known for "Jathi Ratnalu". Anudeep earlier gave a huge breakthrough for actress Faria Abdullah in "Jathi Ratnalu." It remains to be seen whether this success can be repeated with Rukmini in their forthcoming partnership.
However, Anudeep's last two endeavours, 'First Day First Show' as a producer and 'Prince' as a filmmaker, failed at the box office. It remains to be seen whether this new partnership would be a success for the debutante in Tollywood. Rukmini Vasanth, who was just one film old, became an overnight phenomenon with her second and third films, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A and Side B, in which her character priya won hearts and became Karnataka's new crush. The actress' performance as priya, particularly her expressive eyes, garnered a new fan base not just among Kannadigas but also from neighbouring states.
