Akkineni Nagarjuna's next mass film, "Naa Saami Ranga," which will be released on january 14th, features three heroines as female leads. However, unlike in Nag's previous Sankranthi films, when he romanced two or three starring girls, he only had one heroine this time, with the other two acting opposite naresh and raj Tarun. Here's what filmmaker Vijay Binny has to say about the main character.
When asked by india Herald why he has cast only one heroine, kannada beauty Ashika Ranganath, for Nagarjuna, Vijay says, "I want to break the mold of 2-3 heroines for the leading man, so I created only one romantic role to play opposite Nag sir. But mark my words: Ashika is going to be the next great thing in Tollywood. She will be quite busy following Naa Saami Ranga's release." Many people became fans of Ashika after seeing the movie's trailer, and everyone is wondering if the director's promises would come true.
Among all the starring ladies of Sankranthi films, Ashika is the only siren who has just one film in Tollywood, along with Amritha Aiyer of Hanu Man, whereas Sreeleela, Shraddha Srinath, Andrea, and Ruhani have done several straight films and some are also well-known for their dubbed films.
