Actor, producer, and director Jamnadas Majethia who is also the chairman of IFTPC feels many people rush to register their titles but only one or two movies get made, “Registering a title is an easy job but making a film is a difficult process. Many filmmakers register a title to make others feel that they should not make a film on a similar subject. There are many permissions involved when it comes to making a film on a real-life incident so we will have to wait and watch how many films get made.”Trade expert Girish Wankhede feels the subject can make for a good movie, “I am not surprised with the rush to register titles around the rescue mission. We had kaala Patthar in the past which might not have done great at the box office but the film was lauded by the cinephile as well as the critics.” Ask him which actor would make the cut and he says, “Obviously it has to be akshay kumar (laughs). He is our official rescue person when it comes to films. The other great choice would be ajay Devgn.”On the other hand, trade analyst Taran adarsh doesn’t think the subject warrants a movie, “We recently had Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue which was a disaster. I don’t see a movie on this topic being made anytime soon.”
