'Mangalavaaram' was released in telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and kannada on november 17 and it got some great reviews. On november 16, it had paid premieres in Vijayawada, Vizag, Kakinada, Nellore, Bhimavaram, and Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. In addition, other premieres in hyderabad have been scheduled for the day.

In her most recent interview, main actress payal rajput indicates that taking on a big-budget, high-octane mystery thriller like 'Mangalavaaram' was a significant burden. "Some scripts intensely draw me towards them," she continues. I'm aware that director Ajay Bhupathi's vision is exceptional. This is my second shot with him following the gracious hit ‘RX 100’. He is the only filmmaker that truly knows me. He understands my potential better than anyone else. I yearned to collaborate with him."

The actress has admittedly been hoping for a telugu return. "It's been five years since my debut here." I hope 'Mangalavaaram' proves to be a watershed moment. "This is an out-of-the-box film that no one has tried on the indian screen before," she says. Ajaneesh B Loknath of 'Kantara' fame composed the soundtrack for the film, which was produced by swathi Reddy Gunupati and suresh Varma M of Mudhra media Works in collaboration with Bhupathi's A Creative Works.
