All Eyes On Hi Nanna After Resounding Flop!

SIBY JEYYA
Mrunal Thakur, who was once the buzz of tollywood with the success of "Sita Ramam," seems to have fallen out of step in the business. Despite becoming a household name because of the mega-hit film, her prominence in tollywood has waned over time. Mrunal's recent bollywood comedy flick "Aankh Micholi" was a flop. Despite an ensemble cast and a successful filmmaker (OMG and 102 Not Out), the picture failed to break the Rs. 2 crore barrier. Fortunately, the film's poor reaction remained mostly undetected, allowing Mrunal to walk away unhurt.
The film's underperformance serves as a warning to Mrunal Thakur, pushing her to be more cautious in her film selections in order to avoid any negative influence on her career. While her OTT release, "Pippa," a war drama, earned good reviews for its sincerity, it did not help her career trajectory.
All eyes are now on her future movie, "Hi Nanna," a deeply emotional film starring Nani. This is her first picture since "Sita Ramam," and expectations are high not just for the film's reception but also for Mrunal Thakur's performance beyond "Sita Ramam." bollywood has failed to do her skill or beauty justice. tollywood was the first to recognise her potential as a mainstream lead actress. So the success of Hi Nanna is critical for Mrunal if she wants to stay in tollywood longer.
