There has been a lot of hype surrounding the recent disclosure of Janhvi Kapoor's first appearance in the upcoming Jr. ntr film "Devara." Dressed in a half saree, green blouse, blue dupatta, and lehenga, she accessorised her look with a straightforward neck chain made of black thread, basic bangles, hoops earrings, and a lovely nose ring. She posed with her hands resting elegantly on her waist, exuding the allure of a rural belle with her adorable bindi and easy hairstyle.
Sharp-eyed viewers, however, did not take long to make the connection between samantha Ruth Prabhu's Ramalakshmi in "Rangasthalam" and Rashmika's Srivalli in "Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1." The resemblance is in the half-saree's simplicity, which is enhanced by the nose ring and bindi, creating the image of a traditional rural girl. It's interesting to note how differently filmmakers sukumar and koratala siva handle the characters.
In Sukumar's films, samantha and rashmika embraced full glam looks, whereas koratala Siva's heroines tended to focus more on acting and less on glamour. As janhvi kapoor takes on the character of Thangam in "Devara," viewers are captivated and anticipating seeing the distinctive interpretation that filmmaker koratala siva is renowned for.
The story of beauty, simplicity, and the director's unique touch is one that has viewers eager to see how Thangam will fit in as they wait to learn more about the character dynamics. The much anticipated film's release date is april 5, 2024.
